Junior Front-End Developer
Position Summery
Netlings is looking for a ‘Junior Front-End Developer’ to join our team. You are a recent grad with a strong passion for the web and whose curiosity keeps you up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices. You’ll be working with us on converting web designs into XHTML/CSS/Javascript code utilizing all the latest web standards and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML and its extensions, CSS, Javascript (JQuery)
- Understanding of web standards and semantic coding
- Experience translating PSDs/layered pngs into well structured, tabless XHTML/CSS markup
- Knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatible XHTML/CSS markup
- Graphic and layout sensibility and comfortable working with Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
Nice to Have:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn and implement things quickly
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Essentials Job function:
- Taking web designs in PSDs and other formats and converting into high quality XHTML/CSS code.
- Writing Javascript interactions as needed.

Netlings is looking for a ‘Junior Web Developer’ to join our team. You are a recent grad with a strong passion for the web and whose curiosity keeps you up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices. You’ll be working with us on integrating Frontend code with various CMSs like WordPress and/or building custom PHP based backends.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML and its extensions, CSS, Javascript (JQuery)
- Proficiency in PHP and PHP based MVC frameworks
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity/working knowledge of various CMSs like WordPress
- Familiarity with RubyOnRails framework
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn and implement things quickly
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Essentials Job function:
- Taking hand coded frontends and integrating with CMSs like WordPress.
- Assisting in building custom backends based on PHP.
- Deploying websites of Windows/Linux based web servers.
